Cher Proves Once Again That Age Is Nothing But A Number And Is Still A Style Icon
Cher Turned 69 And Is The New Face Of Marc Jacobs
The 69-year-old diva is the new face of Marc Jacobs and the first image is just stunning.
In the shot, which was photographed by David Sims and styled by Katie Grand, the “Believe” singer is seen sitting on a chair while dressed in a Morticia-esque black pleated maxi dress, with a matching jacket and a pair of leather gloves.
She looks as badass as ever, and this isn’t the first time the iconic singer has looked fab.
Since her days of pin straight hair and bell bottoms, the Cher has rocked a number of wild looks. No matter how “out there” some of the getups were, she pulled them all off.
Because she’s Cher and she is timeless.

It’s a barely there dress that might look more fitting strewn over a Christmas tree, but because it’s Cher (and because it’s on her body which looks flawless) it just works.

While the look might seem a bit politically incorrect today, 1973 was a different time and Cher is of Cherokee descent. Plus, it’s Cher. She can get away with it.

On Cher, it’s just simply Cher, with the daring headdress embodying her show-stopping style.

With a career spanning five decades, Cher has left an undeniable mark on the entertainment and fashion industry. Her one-of-a-kind style is always unexpected and has never failed to make jaws drop.
The ageless sensation once said, “Until you’re ready to look foolish, you’ll never have the possibility of being great.”
As an Academy Award winning actress, Grammy winner, writer, fashionista, and all around legend, Cher has and will continue to impress and influence audiences young and old across the world.
And when it comes to Cher, the regular rules don’t apply.
Born Cherilyn Sarkisian, she was a bride by 18, a No. 1 pop star by 19 and a TV star by 25. It was during her stint on “The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour” that she developed her signature style with the aid of designer Bob Mackie and an ocean of faux locks.
She has had “every color wig you can imagine,” she once told InStyle. “You cannot do things with your hair because all that styling ruins it. And I love my hair.”
Cher may be outrageous, but the Hollywood veteran is truly sensational.
Seriously, the gal can do no wrong. Remember Moonstruck?
And in The Witches Of Eastwick, which was perhaps one of her most babe roles ever…
Cher is always sure to give back, meaning she doesn’t just look awesome.
She has served as National Chairperson and Honorary Spokesperson for the Children’s Craniofacial Association since 1990, has donated over $130,000 to Operation Helmet, and in 1993, she travelled to Armenia, taking desperately needed food and medical supplies to the war-torn region.
She co-hosted the annual American Foundation for AIDS Research benefit at the Cannes Film Festival with Elizabeth Taylor in 1998
She also set up her own Cher Charitable Foundation, contributing time and money to charities and causes.
And now she is the face of one of the biggest names in fashion
